Predictive control has been applied extensively in the process control field for itscontrol capability since 1970's. The business software based on the technology of theprocess control has been used in the production process. The thesis designs the advancedprocess control (APC) of oxidation reaction of the PTA equipment based on the DMCplusAPC software of the Aapen corporation to improve the stability of the equipment, theproduction capacity and quality of production.First, the thesis expounds the application and the advantages of the Model PredictiveControl(MPC), and analyzes the algorithm of MPC in detail.Second, based on the current situation and problems of the PTA equipment production,we combine the production practice and the characteristic of the oxidation reaction, usestep signal to identify system and obtain a predictive model. Furthermore, a controller isdesigned by the DMCplus APC software and hardware application to realize theapplication of the dynamic matrix predictive control.Finally, after a period of running, we obtain the satisfying efficiency of control, i.e., thepromotion of the production quality, the stability of the equipment-running and theefficiency of energy utilization.
