Research Of Relatived Alogorithm In The Network Congestion Control Field

With the explosive growth of Internet, special multimedia real-time applications become wide-spread, the network congestion has become more serious and complex. The congestion control algorithm research is always a hot spot in the field of network research.This thesis has probed the evolution and research situation of congestion control algorithm. The TCP congestion control slow start and the active queue management fairness are studied thoroughly. The followings are the main works of this article:Congestion control schemes are researched in two different ways of TCP terminal and IP network. Function extension of NS2 network simulator:For example a new active queue management BLUE algorithm, how to implement network protocol in the NS2.The TCP congestion control slow start has a problem that the send-velocity changes greatly and the capability of the network is low. This chapter analyzes the limitation about the improved slow start algorithm, then advances end-to-end available bandwidth measurement methods and realizes improved algorithm of phase-divided smooth slow start based on the bandwidth measurement, and gets a flexible parameter model, realizes the auto-adaptation parameter setting. The simulation results show that the capability of the network transfer has great improving.Combining with Bloom Filter, an enhancing the queue fairness improved algorithm based on the BLUE algorithm is put forward to solve fairness between the stream and stream. The new algorithm can distinguish the unresponsive stream and restrict the velocity, protect the TCP stream from being affected by the unresponsive stream so as to actualize the fairness of stream transmission by little status bit and small buffers.Finally, the thesis summarizes the current existing open issues, and provides some further interesting directions.
