| Experiential Learning is a learning style that learners in the center position input their bodies and souls into real or analog learning environment to experience a thing or procedure. In order to obtain knowledge, develop ability and generate emotion, they must reflect the experience. Context, Experience, Interaction in the leaning procedure that Experiential Learning emphasizes correspond with the teaching viewpoints including participation, exploration and innovation that new course standards advocate, so the educators are paying attention to the Experiential Learning and have high passion to it. The teachers adopt the Experiential Learning Activities (ELA) to raise the students'interest in history and promote the capability of innovation and practice. Currently, Virtual Reality Technology develops fast; the birth of 3D software based on internet provides new chance for ELA. How to organize ELA in the learning platform is the question that the teachers are facing.The Second Life software based on the virtual reality and web2.0 is becoming the ELA platform of history in junior by its visual avatar designed, realistic context created and extensive communication. Designing ELA produce based on SL is the primary problem which is the paper will research on. In the first, the paper defines the Experiential Learning, Experiential Learning Activities and their relationship. Then based on the Activity theory and the Learning Frame Theory, divide the main factors of the ELA which constitute the designing frame of ELA.Combining with the SL support to the ELA, elaborate ELA design flow based on SL about junior history. Last, combining China's reform open for thirty years and history teaching content of eighth grade, conduct ELA named" thirty years about reform open of Hengshui in my eyes" in order to reflect operating characteristic of the research. |
