A Study Of The Youth Students Political Participation In The View Of Political Civilization

China's political civilization construction needs extensive and effective civil participations, lack or absence of political participation will affect this course. Youth, especially youthful students at the present age have innovative energy and consciousnesses of political participation, possess political eagerness and political sensitivity and pay much attention to country's destiny and national prosperity and decline, they are the main body's core of political participation.Political participation of the youthful students has been universally considered a social problem. Our country is now in the period of social transformation, the situation of both international and national change rapidly, all of these have strongly influenced the political participation of youthful students. Their thought way, value and behavior are also changing greatly; the situation, extent and intensity of their political participation relate to not only their further development but also the common people's initiation of thought consciousness and social regime vicissitude. In general, the situation of political participation of youthful students presents good, but some non-neglected problems still exist and need to be solved.Taking Marxism as guideline, this paper clarified scientific meaning and essence of the political participation of youthful students, the meaning was defined as all behaviors that youthful students, as main body of political participation, try to affect political courses by ways and means. It opened out the character and functions of the political participation of youthful students and analyzed the causes of the existing problems. On the basis of research, the paper put forward methods to educate and guide political participation of youthful students, tried to perfect the theory and met the practice needs of political participation in the background of our country's political civilization construction. It's composed of three parts.Part one, the research academic basis of political participation of youthful students. Taking Marxism as guideline, on the basis of analyzing other scholars' achievements, this part defined the political participation of youthful students in new period, pointed out that study the political participation of youthful students would better guide their political practice, provided academic direction for function and value of political civilization construction and person's all-around progress. Furthermore, it enriched the theory of political participation of youthful students.Part two, nowadays situation analysis of political participation of youthful students. From the angle of mode and performance of the political participation of youthful students, this part considered the participation performance content was plentiful; character was strong and ways were various, etc. On the other hand, some problems have still existed in the activity, for example, consciousness is unstable; level and target value is low; confidence is deficient; performance deviates from awareness; non-institution participation and so on. At the same time, the part analyzed the causes of these problems from social economic development, political system, political traditional culture, schooling and youthful students themselves. In this part, the paper analyzed the existing problems and proposed the useful methods. The main reason are including the social economic development, political system, traditional political culture and the youth themselves.Part three, the suggestion and strategies of guiding education in the youth political participation. To completely solve the problems, it needs the cooperation and common efforts from the government, the social organization, the school and the youth themselves together. The government should faster the step of political civilization and provides the better political environment and political participation channel; the school should strengthen to culture the youth's political thought and improve the ability of political participation; the youth themselves should improve their own political culture and to be a civilized political people.
