The Guidance Of Values In The National Spirit Education

Entering the 21st century,China faces the severe competition and challenge of the world economy,politics,science and culture,and the reform of domestic economic system and political structure. The promotion and cultivation of national spirit should be, from either the historical or the realistic macroscopic view, the most fundamental and significant historical mission for the education in China. Looking back, the spirit of our nation has achieved fruitful results, but it is undeniable that there are still some problems can not be optimistic. For example: some people blindly worship the West, lack of national self-confidence; some people are indifferent to the awareness of the nation and the state, lack of social responsibility. Some people forget the history, lack of awareness of danger in times of peace and so on. If we analyze the reasons ,we found that many of the root of the problem is we don't attach importance to a correct orientation in the process of national spirit,so that the education process deviated from the goals of education. But only under the guidance of the firm, correct, clear, dominant values, can we be expected to achieve education goals of national spirit. And we will be able to carry forward the spirit of the Chinese nation. Therefore, the research of the value guidance in education of national spirit is necessary, but also very meaningful.Six of the 16th National Party Congress passed the<CPC Central Committee on number of building a socialist harmonious society making decisions on important issues>, specifically mentioned the core values of building a socialist system requirements and strategies, and emphasizes the need to put the socialist system into the core values into the national education and the building of spiritual civilization whole process of modernization construction through various aspects. Therefore, we must take this opportunity to the education of national spirit. We can use the core value of socialist system for guidance. And we must adhere to the Marxist ideology of the guiding role of the field, to promote the nation's outstanding cultural heritage. To do so,we can lead and integrate diverse social thought, and can keep the whole nation-wide community of ideals and beliefs on the basis of respect for difference. We must vigorously carry forward and cultivate the spirit of the great Chinese nation, in order to advance the whole national power.
