With the development of internet, there is a signification improve of information transmission. At this background, the numbers of internet users become bigger and bigger. As internet is not limited to the space, it is a very convenient and useful technology. The World Wide Web is the core of internet, which is the collection of servers support www and http(Hypertext Transfer Protocol). The links are like nerve of the network. It connects the World Wide Web together; therefore combine thousands of sources to a huge information database. No matter the geography or physical location, it is easy to transport and switch the information. Hypertext transport protocol changes the old transmission that written scripts, images, sound are transmitted separately. So the transmission of the World Wide Web is a multimedia transport. Links as technological applications, allow internet information be very convenient to the interaction and greatly improve the efficiency of the information collection, processing. Link itself is not infringement. However, if the link is not appropriate to set, copyright infringement may be raised. The link has greatly contributed to the internet, but it was also given many challenges to traditional legal system. For example, deep links and buried link technology make traditional copyright and trademark theory out of action. Therefore, the discussion of deep link is not only has practical use, but also well for guiding healthy development of network technology. This article will discuss intellectual property disputes caused by deep links.
