A Study Of Localization Of Engineering Ethics In China From The Perspective Of Project Planning And Site Selection, And Value System Of Engineers

With the rapid development of the chinese socialist modernization, the ethical issues raised by the practice of project are receiving more and more attention. The "Engineering Ethics" refers to the expectations of ethical standards and guidelines, produced by the engineering practice. The Engineering Ethics originates from capitalism in Western matured market economy,which is founded on the background of Political system and economic conditions of the western developed countries. It is the synthesis of ideology, the basic principles of ethics and research methods .Therefore, in our country, the Engineering Ethics requires not only introducing, learning and absorbing experience from the West and their achievements ,but also forming our own theoretical points of view, the model of paradigm and practice. In the construction and development of the process of engineering ethics, it should be based on China's basic conditions, and fully exploring the "ethical intelligence", which is the traditional Chinese civilization. That means combining Chinese characteristics with ethics to solve practical problems in practice. Hence,in the author's point of view, the ethics of the so-called localization project mainly refers to the Chinese developing model of ethics that can not simply take the theory of transplantation of Western ideas, but need to have theoretical innovation with Chinese characteristics and Chinese style.The full text contains five parts with about 30,000 words.The first part describes the purpose of the whole article and the prospect of resolving the issue of ethics .It also sorts out the status of research at home and abroad to find the end-result of writing the article.The second part explains the concept of "localization", and analyzes the connotation and extension of localization of the engineering ethics. Followed by the two characteristics of engineering ethics habitat and social domain, the thesis further elaborates the possibility and inevitability of localization.The third part is the case study. China and the United States are selected for community planning and site selection and the two cases of China and the United States engineer. Starting the specific cases of China and the United States, the thesis finds their own place of ethics and inductive analysis.The fourth part analyzes the differences in the causes of engineering ethics from the perspective of economic, cultural, and political systems.The fifth part gives a prospect of China's localization through the analysis of engineering ethics in the article. It is divided into three levels. The thesis , in the end, put forward conducive suggestions on how to work with a combination of the actual situation in China.
