Research On Visual Design Of Musicality

Along with society's development, the bend between subjects has been the main development trend of the discipline. To perfect the research through referencing interdisciplinary principle has become one of the popular research methods of academic research. Visual design and music, which have strong comparability and interoperability at some aspect, are two important subjects of arts. Walter Pater had said that all of the art was in constant efforts towards music border. Designers exactly use this unique musical mode of thinking, create musicality in visual design and then reach resonance together with the audience both in visual and soul.Starting from the relationship between hearing music and visual music, in this paper we explore the transformation relationship between hearing music and visual music and achieve the design of hearing music in visual design more specifically and directly by using the interdisciplinarity thinking method. This paper is divided into five parts: Introduction, Formation of Musicality in Visual Design, Model Musicality in Visual Design, unscrambling Musicality in Visual Design, epilogue.Firstly, starting from the domestic and foreign research status, we analyze the existing problems of the study, propose the innovation points and then determine the research purpose and meaning.Secondly, by understanding further of hearing music principle, visual music principle and audio-visual synaesthesia principle, we explore the interoperability between visual design and music art theoretically. Starting from construction elements of visual design, We try to build shape model and color model, combine the music clips from model transformation through many methods like repetition, variation, comparison, open and reappear and finally achieve the agreement between music chips and the theme of visual design. Finally, the accuracy and feasibility of morphology and color model is proved through actual case. And the music chips from model transformation is replayed. At last we achieve to unscramble music chips from visual design works in depth.
