Preliminary Study On The Characteristics Of Chopin's Piano Ballades

Chopin's ballade is a bran-new creation because it is not only an unprecedented piano ballade but also raised to a genre with drama and symphony. This genre of ballade developed by Chopin improves its own expression and has a brand-new meaning and a magnificent epic content. In order to get a full cognition and comprehension about the ideological characteristics and creation of Chopin's Ballades, deepen understanding of Chopin's music and explore the expression of ballades, it is essential to make a comprehensive study on the characteristics of Chopin's Ballades as to demonstrate Chopin's works and all that provides a reference or inspiration for deep comprehension and further development of the piano music expression.The objects for discussion in this paper are four of Chopin's ballades.
