A Briefly Discuss Of The Nationality In The Poster Design Of Traditional Opera Culture

"Only the ethical things can belong to the world." If an ethnic group or a country wants to develop and be invincible, it must be based on its nationality. Nationality is combined of the politics,economy,culture,custom,the way of life,morality, religion and Aesthetic habit. No matter what kind of arts, it can't lose its nationality. We have to keep the characteristic of our nationality and innovate at the same time, based on inheriting,absorbing and digesting the tradition. Our country has the profound local culture. Its nationality incarnate of the traditional culture. In China, the arts of poesy,calligraphy,painting,old character,antique style,architecture, the philosophy of Confucianism,Taoism,Legalists,Zen, and the theory of the aesthetics still has the large influence over the art produce in nowadays. Among the traditional cultures which have the Chinese feature, the traditional Chinese Opera is a special kind of art work. It has long history and abounding culture, it is combined of politics,religion,literature,philosophy,art,music. This thesis links with my poster design of the traditional opera in Fujian province, investigate and discuss the application of nationality in the poster design of the traditional opera. The nationality represents the traditional culture of our country. Use the figure element of the traditional elements(figure symbol-types of facial makeup and the color symbol in the local operas) and the layout, links with the modern design language, transmit the Chinese traditional culture. Incarnate a kind of oriental charm and temperament, a unique kind of character of Chinese local culture.
