Based on the attention given to the theoretical value of "Inner Hearing" in singing, the paper emphasizes the necessity and importance of "Inner Hearing".The paper describes the concept and causes of"Inner Hearing" in music, and the resolution of the treble, the bass, and the tone during teaching, and the regulation in music concert practice. The paper also proposes that in vocal teaching, "Inner Hearing" should be given more attention and be more developed. On this basis, the author argues that the practice focus of vocal music teaching should be:to guide vocal teaching with" inner hearing".The author thinks that the formation of "Inner Hearing" in singing is an important symbol for singing guidance rising to rational expression from experience accumulation." Inner Hearing" also plays the role of regulation in helping the singer to behave more naturally and freely, and to build individually unique singing capability etc. When the capability of "Inner Hearing" is more sharp and more close to perfect, it will contribute more to the learning of vocal music and the performance of music. When we grasp the roles and rules that "Inner Hearing" plays in vocal music, we will get to a higher level in vocal music learning, will enjoy more during singing practice and will more love our own singing career.
