The Relationship Among Parenting Styles, Self-identity And Social Anxiety Of The Post-1990s College Students

University is an individual critical period of development in life.it is transition station for college students from the school to the societyl.At this stage,college students will be exposed to mang problems,and communication is the first problem. it is important for them to avoid social anxiety. There are many factors affecting social anxiety, ego-identity and parenting styles are important factors. This study measures the relationship among parental rearing,ego identity and social anxiety in 90 late college students.using Egma Minnen av Bardndosnauppforstran (EMBU) revised by yue dongmei, ego-identity status inventory by zhang risheng and Interaction Anxiousnessscale(IAS) by Leary.The results show that:in parenting styles,there is significant differences among sexs, art and science,singleton and non-singleton, bornhome,parents'education background.it is no difference in grades.In ego-identity,there is no significant difference among sexs,art and science, bornhome,grades.there is significant differences between singleton and non-singleton.In social anixity,there is no differences among sexs, art and science,singleton and non-singleton, bornhome.But social anxiety is influenced by parentals'education background. Parenting style is relation with ego-identity and social anxiety.ego-identity directly predicts social anxiety,and so does parenting styles.in addition parenting styles affect ego-identity.
