Objective HaTa Capsule has the functions of dispelling XiriWusu and relieving pains from the body. This study aims at examining its principal pharmacodynamic functions, and basically evaluating its acute toxicity so as to provide some pharmacological reference and security for clinical application .Methods The modern pharmacological research methods had been used in the study. Such as:Carrageenin pyogenic and inflammatory method, dimethybenzene induced ear tumefaction, twisting method, heat plate method, adjuvant arthritis_induced rats paw edema, gramuloma formation and the imitating the acute toxicity experiment of the clinical medical way.Result①.The anti-inflammatory test showed that HaTa Capsule has significant preventing effect on dimethylbenzene-induced mice ear swelling and inhibition on Carrageenin-induced rat paw edema; obvious preventing effect on mice granulation tissue formation. In addition, it has significant antagonistic effect on acetic acid-induced mice celiac permeability.②The analgesic test proved that haTa capsule has significant reliving effect on hot plate-induced mice pain response in different time period. Also, it has notable action on relieving acetic acid-induced mice pain.③The rat adjuvant arthritis test showed that HaTa Capsule has significant inhibition on AA rat's arthral swelling in different time period, it has obvious inhibiting effect on AA rat secondary arthral swelling.④The acute toxicity test on mice showed that LD50 of HaTa Capsule is 9.779g/kg, the quantity is 187 times as much as that of clinic. Its 95% confidence limit of HaTa Capsule is range from 8.7674 to 10.9076g/kg.
