The Investigate And Analysis Of Dispute To Medical Treatment And Preventive Countermeasure

Objective:Through the analysis of medical treatment dispute, to seek the countermeasures to prevent and reduce it. Methods:To make a retrospectively statistic analysis on 91 medical record cases to analyze the reasons and the current treatment method to the medical dispute, all the cases were selected from the medical technical appraisement office of Hami region during past 7 years. Results:The total amount of cases settled by courts was 52(57.1%). The main causes were too simple medical record (47,51.6%), doctor's weak of responsibility(24,26.4%) and poor technical level (6,6.6%) respectively. The average amount of compensation was￥34.5 thousand. Conclusions: The major countermeasures to prevent and reduce the disputes to medical treatment were to enhance and improve the doctor's personnel responsibility and professional technical level and manners of service; meantime, to strengthen the management in hospital and section office were also important issue.
