ObjectiveTo study the protective effects of ulinastatin on ischemia reperfusion lung injury in vivo.Material and MethodsTwenty adult Newzeland white rabbits were randomly divided into the groups of ischemia reperfusion lung injury(group A)and the group of ulinastatin (group B).Ulinastatin(10000 U/kg)was infused before ligating lung hilum in group B. Blood gas analysis was done, and plasma tumor necrosis factora(TNF-α)and inerleukin-6(IL-6)were measured after blocking for 2 h and reperfusion for 1 h. Lung wet-to-dry weight (W/D)ratio and histological change were observed in the end. ResultsAfter blocking for 2 h, PO2 got close between group A and B, After reperfusion 1 h, PO2 in group B was higher than group A [(77.61±5.04) mmHg and (100.85±6.73) mmHg)]; TNF-a(OA)in group A(254.02±14.31,504.02±33.52)was higher than group B (148.63±21.06 and 160.54±16.93) at all time points; Lung W/D ratio in group A was also higher than group B [(8.55±0.61) g and (5.90±0.55) g];In morphologic examination group A showed pale, swollen and microstructure destruction.ConclusionUlinastatin can protect effectively the lesion of lung pathology in ischemia reperfusion in vivo. |
