Objective:With analysis through the reported endoscopic varicel ligation versus beta-adrenergic blocker in esophageal varices。Evaluations of clinical effect after treatment to compare the differences of the two types of treatment in esophageal varices. Draw more references in the choice of the graft. Methods:Collect randomized controlled Trials (RCTs) from Pubmed, EMBSE,Cochrane and CNKI, and analyse the data with the Review Manager 4.2 software. Conclusion:Endoscopic varicel ligation surpass beta-adrenergic blocker in the prevention of fisrt esophageal variceal bleeding and serious adverse events. There is not synificant differencn on mortality of bleeding mortality and total mortality in two groups.
