Objective Multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT), CT angiography (CTA) and image post-processing techniques to study the peripheral lung cancer with CT performance and pulmonary arterial relationships, and were classified to understand the correlation between the two, to explore its diagnostic value. Methods (1) Were given to 65 patients,49 males and 16 females, aged from 39 to 85 years, mean 54.8 years old. All cases were confirmed by surgery, CT-guided biopsy and clinical, CT confirmed. (2) Using 16-slice or 64-slice spiral CT enhanced scan after scan line, from raw data by the small view (FOV) thin underwent multi—planar reformation (MPR), maximum intensity projection (MIP) and other post-processing methods show related peripheral lung cancer and pulmonary arterial relationships, and were classified. Divided into four types:Type 1:bronchial, PA truncated at the edge of lesions; 2:bronchial, PA at the lesion within the truncated; 3: bronchus, PA within the lesion through; 4:bronchus, PA extension of the edge of moving lesions lumen pressure changes the normal or flat lesions, or by pulling the shift. (3) Statistical analysis:Using SPSS13.0 statistical software analysis, data were analyzed byχ2 test and correlation analysis to P<0.05 for the difference was significant, to P<0.01 for the difference was very significant, statistical classification and tumor location, size, density. Results (1) MSCT, CTA and post processing methods, can better show the peripheral lung and bronchus and pulmonary artery related to the relationship and peripheral lung cancer-pulmonary arterial structural features of the interface.65 cases of peripheral lung cancer, all more clearly show the relationship between bronchial lesions and 56 patients showed the relationship with the PA. (2) Bronchial classification:1 type (38 cases,58.5%) more common in solid,2.0cm or more peripheral lung cancer (χ2=11.677, P=0.002),2 type (16 cases,24.6%) more common in some solid,2cm these peripheral lung cancer (χ2=10.150, P= 0.003). (3) Type in the pulmonary artery:the proportion of 1,2-type similar to (25 cases,44.6%; 20 cases,35.7%), a type common in solid diameter of 2cm or more peripheral lung cancer (χ2=6.777, P= 0.013),2 more common in some solid,2cm these peripheral lung cancer (χ2=8.236, P=0.006).3,4 small number of cases, no statistical significance. (4) Bronchial and pulmonary involvement was a positive correlation between type (r=0.417, P<0.01).Conclusion (1) MSCT, CTA with image processing technique can be clearly displayed in peripheral lung and bronchus and pulmonary artery relationship and classification will help the morphology of peripheral lung cancer in-depth analysis; (2) Bronchial and pulmonary artery 1+2 type is the most common type of peripheral lung cancer, the diagnosis of lung cancer has important value; (3) Peripheral lung cancer in the bronchus and pulmonary artery are simultaneously involved, the two correlated.
