Physician-patient relationship is the most popular and the most active relationship in basic health care activities. Its manifestations and implications of the change along with the social system and development of medical science, evolving. Since the reform and opening up, with the social restructuring, the economic structure changes, especially the new health management guiding-system and the introduction of the "Medical Negligence Ordinance", make the current physician-patient relations have shown new features which can be said that now the physician-patient relationship is the most intense since the founding of the most vulnerable period:lack of patient trust, patient medical disputes and even violent incidents continue to occur, the prevalence of defensive medicine so ranging abnormal phenomenon.Level of development of modern medicine and the hope among the medical people, the state's economic ability to pay medical services and people between the health needs of the increasingly high, more and show some incompatible, people eager to look into the reasons. The face of our deteriorating physician-patient relationship, the paper became a doctor, the patients, psychosocial and economic factors, legal factors and the health care system different tack, the system of the underlying causes of this phenomenon, analysis of the current contradictions and conflicts of patient and physician. By public goods theory, system supply and system theory applied to the shortage of research to improve physician-patient relationship, to seek through the system supply and system construction, to achieve the improvement of physician -patient relationship and may provide some new ways of thinking and action.
