Clinical Study On Advanced Gastric Cancer Treated By "jian Pi Fang" Combined With Chemotherapy

Objective:Weakness in spleen function combined with qi deficiency is one of the basic pathogenesis of gastric cancers,promoting qi and strengthening spleen is one of the most important principles of treatm-ent,based on it,we choose " jian pi fang " combined with chemotherapy (OXA+5_Fu+LV regimen) to study the curative effect of Chinese medicines and chemotherapy on advanced gastric cancers.Methods:42 subjects with advanced gastric cancers were randomly divided into two groups,22 pat-ients in the treated group were administered with "jian pi fang" and chemotherapy (OXA+5_Fu+LV regimen),20 in the control group with chemo-therapy alone.Objective effects and the changes of subjective symptoms were studied during two periods of treatment. Results:After two periods of treatment,the subjective symptoms,KPS,weights,QOL,the tumor ma-rk(CEA+CA19-9),immune parameters were significantly improved in the treated group, better than in the control one.But there was no difference between two groups on the size of focus,the toxicity occurent rate and toxic degree were slighter in the treated group than in the controlone.Conclusion:"jian pi fang" and chemotherapy(OLF regimen)have better curative effect on treating advanced gastric cancers.
