Background:Peripheral vascular diseases can be divided into obstructive diseases and no-obstructive diseases, the former mainly comprise stenosis and obstruct caused by vessel wall thickening and/or succeeded thrombogenesis, the latter include angielcosis, arterio-venous fistula(AVF), pseudoaneurysm(PSA)and angiorrhexis, etc. Interventional radiology methods are more and more used to clinical diagnoses and therapy along with the wide uses of digital subtraction angiography(DSA) and the enhancement of microinvasion opinion. The applications of covered stent extend the range of intracavitary therapy to no-obstructive diseases. For the past few years, the covered stents' applications in cardiovascular diseases and neuroal diseases have a great growth owing to the interventional apparatus' development and the interventional methods' enhancement. There are some reports about the application of covered stents used in AVF, PSA, stenosis or obstructive diseases, but the pathology analysis of large samples and mid/long-term follow up are deficientObjective:To evaluate the feasibility of vascular artery implanted with covered stent from the aspects of success rate of implantation, wall-sticking ability, post-procedure stenosis rate and various factors influencing the effect after covered stent implanted, edata acquisition electronicsMaterial and Methods:Among 19 cases with complete clinical data, There are PSA 1 cases, AVF 1 cases, artherosclerosis(AS) complicating aneurysm 2 cases, artherosclerosis(AS) complicating angielcosis 2 cases, aneurysm in renal arteries 1 cases, liver cancer complicating AVF and hepatic artery suture point errhysis after liver transplantation 1 case respectively.19 cases were implanted covered stents, follow-up DSA were performed immediately after the procedure and 4,12 and 24 weeks afterward, DSA images, internal leak and stenosis rate were recorded and analyzed.Results:19 cases were implanted the covered stents successfully; all the stents displayed good wall-sticking ability. There was 2 case missed in 4 weeks,1 case missed again and 1 case dead in 12 weeks later caused by hepatic carcinoma,2 case missed after 24 weeks again.1 case AVF recured in deep femoral artery after 4weeks follow up, shifting rate was 5.88%(1/17); In the follow up, there were 2 case,3 cases and 3 cases stenosis after 4 weeks,12 weeks, and 24 weeks respectively.stenosis rate was 5.88% (2/17),20.00%(3/15),23.08%(3/13) respectively. Conclusion:covered stent can be implanted into vascular artery successfully, and it has well wall-sticking ability; the main complications are internal leak and stenosis after covered stent implanting; the occurrence of stenosis may relate to covered stents' nature, vascular diameter, and patients'body condition, basic diseases; The covered stent implantation of vascular artery is feasible, but must pay attention to the selection of indications and covered stents.
