Microscopic Anatomy Research On The Forehead-diastematia To The Third Ventricle Anterior Approach

Objective:To provide anatomical basis for clinical anterior resection of third ventricle tumor via study on the forehead-diastematia to the third ventricle anterior approach using micro-dissection.Methods:10 adult Corpse heads were autopsyed by the forehead-diastematia to the Third Ventricle anterior approach under the microscope. Data was measured by gauge and micrometer.Results:Data was measured including distance between Bilateral olfactory nerves and carotid arterys, distance between chiasm opticum anterior border and tuberculum sellae. The length and diameter of Anterior communicating artery, Heubner artery return were also measured.Conclusion:For the approach of the forehead-diastematia to the Third Ventricle anterior was through the physical space, and minor lesion to surrounding construction, it was the better approach for Third ventricle anterior tumor resection.
