The Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea are the semi-enclosed shallow seas, which have the special environment and dynamic characteristics. The interannual variation of the temperature and salinity and the corresponding current field of the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea are the important topics in the physical oceanography in this area. Based on the Princeton Ocean Model, the paper analyses the interannual variation of the temperature and salinity and the corresponding current field of the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea, and investigates correlation of interannual variation of the Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass and the Yellow Sea Warm Current and interannual variation of the salinity of Bohai Sea.Based on the high resolution POM model, this paper has simulated the temperature, salinity and the current field of the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea successfully. The model results which partially support the former results are shown below: the temperature structure and the salinity structure along the central section of the Bohai Sea reflects the two centers of low temperature and high salinity in the shallow of the centric Bohai Sea in summer; the temperature structure and the salinity structure along 35°N section has manifested the Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass in summer; the temperature structure and the salinity structure along 35°N section has manifested the Yellow Sea Warm Current axis in winter.Analysis of temperature observations shows that the intensity of the Yellow Sea Warm Water in winter is well agreed with the salinity of the Bohai Sea, when the salinity of the Bohai Sea is higher, the Yellow Sea Warm Current will intrude deeply to the northern Yellow Sea. Model result agree with the above points: Model results reveal the distribution of the average temperature of 25m layer in Bohai Sea and Yellow Sea. This paper takes the Yellow Sea Warm Water tongue as an indicator to study the Yellow Sea Warm Current axis, and finds axis flows along the 50-70m isobath in Yellow Sea. The Model results have been used about 32 years, the Yellow Sea Warm Current axis has shifting obviously. This paper takes the variability of the 5℃isotherm at 25m layer as an indicator to study the Yellow Sea Warm Water tongue in the south-north shifting, results show interannual variation obviously, which is well agreed with the salinity of the Bohai Sea and the salinity of the Bohai Sea one month ahead of it by using the methods of the correlation analysis. In other words, when the salinity of the Bohai Sea is higher, the Yellow Sea Warm Current will intrude deeply to the northern Yellow Sea. This paper takes average temperature structure in the winter and temperature structure in the winter along 35°N section to study the Yellow Sea Warm Current axis in the east-west shifting, results show interannual variation obviously, which is well agreed with the salinity of the Bohai Sea and the salinity of the Bohai Sea one month ahead of it by using the methods of the correlation analysis. In other words, when the salinity of the Bohai Sea is higher, this axis moves westward along 35°N section. To sum up, when the salinity of the Bohai Sea is higher, the Yellow Sea Warm Current will intrude deeply to the northern Yellow Sea, and Yellow Sea Warm Current axis moves westward, and the Yellow Sea Warm Current is strong. Instead, when the salinity of the Bohai Sea is lower, the Yellow Sea Warm Current is weak. Preliminary analysis of its causes, on the one hand, when the wind in winter becomes more strong, greater evaporation causes a higher salinity in Bohai Sea; On the other hand, the strong northern wind in winter would make the strong coastal current flows to south along the coastline of the Yellow Sea, and more water flows to south, the Yellow Sea Warm Current as compensation will enhance its strength to north.Analysis of temperature observations shows that the range of the Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass in summer is well agreed with the salinity of the Bohai Sea, when the salinity of the Bohai Sea is higher, the range of the Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass in summer will be smaller. Model result agree with the above points: Taking the Isothermal as the indicator, the variability of the Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass in summer is studied. Results show: Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass in the 10m, 15m, 20m, 25m, 30m layers are obvious, and has the obvious interannual variation, which is well agreed with the salinity of the Bohai Sea and the salinity of the Bohai Sea several months ahead of it by using the methods of the correlation analysis. In other words, when the salinity of the Bohai Sea in summer is higher, the range of the Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass will be small; when the salinity of the Bohai Sea is higher, the range of the Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass will be small after several months. Instead, when the salinity of the Bohai Sea is lower, the range of the Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass will be large. Preliminary analysis of its causes, when the salinity of the Bohai Sea is higher, the Yellow Sea Warm Current in winter is strong, which brings plentiful warm water to north along the Yellow Sea and even the Bohai Sea, then this warm water leaves behind the summer, the Yellow Sea Cold Water Mass from the Yellow Sea bottom water low temperature will be small.
