The refuse compost of Xinhuan waste treatment company in Zun Yi used as research object, the possibility of using as medium and the pollution of leachete were studied in pots. Firstly, Salvia splendends,Balsaminaceae,Callistephus chinensis. Tagetes Erecta,Gomphrema globosa.L,Pelargonium hortorum,Helichrysum bracteatum Andr, were planted on the medium,the best flower was selected. At same time, the leachate of medium was measured and appraised. Secondly,growing status of Callistephus chinensis and the pollution of leachate were studied in pots by using mixed refuse compost as medium. Finally, growing status of Lolium L and the pollution of leachate were studied in pots by using mixed refuse compost. Through the research,the main conclusion were showed:1, The physical and chemical characteristics of refuse compost was analysed. The results showed that pH of refuse compost was 7.8, slightly alkaline. >5mm,5~2mm compost granule were 25.10%,43.32%,respectively.Bulk density of compost was 0.485t·m-3,total portable thrasher was 77.94%. Water content was 31.72%.EC was 2545μs·cm-1.GI of grass was 88.71%, GI of Callistephus chinensis was 62.53%. Decomposed organic matter, available N,P and K were 12.37%,707.6mg·kg-1, 44.2 mg·kg-1,2338.5 mg·kg-1,respectively.2, Growing status of Salvia splendends,Balsaminaceae,Callistephus chinensis,Tagetes Erecta, Gomphrema globosa.L,Pelargonium hortorum,Helichrysum bracteatum Andr were studied in pots by using refuse compost as medium. During the experiment time, growth response of flowers was musured by seed germination rate, survival rate, plant height,root length ,flower number and dry weight in different matrix, results showed showed that the best flower was Gomphrena globosa L, the worst flower was Helichrysum bracteatum Andr.3, Growing status of Callistephus chinensis were studied in pots by using refuse compost as medium. During the experiment time,growth response was musured, the results showed that the Callistephus chinensis could grow very well. Plant height was 23 to 32.5cm and flower number 6.5 to 12 flowers. Refuse compost proves to be an effective fertilizer for planting flowers, such as improving the contents of available organic matter and nutrient ,and can be widely used for production of flowers and grass.4, Growing status of grass were studied in pots by using refuse compost as medium. The results showed that plant height, root length, and biomass of grass were affected by experiment material. Plant height and weight of grass were enhanced by activated carbon,root length of grass were enhanced by refuse compost.5, The leachate of refuse compost were studied in pots. The results showed that the leachate of refuse compost might pollute the water-environment with some noxious substances.pH,EC,CODMn, NH4+-N, NO3- -N, PO43--P,K,Na,Ca, Mg,Cr,Gd,Pb,Cu,Zn in the leachate of different treatments ware monitored. The results showed that EC was frow 9205 to 13140μs·cm-1 ,3014 to.5585μs·cm-1,2286 to 2920μs·cm-1 in three different time. CODMn concentration was higher than the V category water quality standerd 3.75~4.15times,4.17~6.56times,3.05~4.38times,respectively.NO3- -N concentration was higher than the V category water quality standerd 0.371~0.549times,0.180~0.415times, respectively.PO43- -P concentration was higher than the standerd of water eutrophication(0.02mg·l-1) 10.75~28.25times,0.180~0.415times,0.55~2.65times,respectively,.K,Na,Ca,Mg concentrations were 502.5~655.0 mg·l-1, 425.0~545.5mg·l-1,1026.05~1595.19 mg·l-1,161.86~430.20 mg·l-1, respectively.Pb,Cu,Zn,Mn concentrations were 0.0008~0.0020 mg·l-1,0.008~0.013 mg·l-1,0.032~0.043 mg·l-1, 0.014~0.033 mg·l-1, respectively.6,The leachate of compost were studied in pots,the results showed that CODMn, total Phosphates(TP), salt content hydrology(EC) of leachate were higer than the ordinary water.CODMn of leachate were 12.24~182.64 mg·l-1, 9.79~146.11 mg·l-1 , respectively, higher than the V category water quality standerd. TP of leachate were 0.247~0.678 mg·l-1, 0.199~0.583 mg·l-1, respectively,igher than the III category water quality standerd. EC of leachate were 7019.61~17525.21μs·cm-1,7051.54~16298.45μs·cm-1,2380.95~3697.48μs·cm-1,respectively,higer than the ordinary water.
