The system can help to strengthen the building of information management and enlarge the benefit of the irrigation area.CIS is a new technique with which space information can he saved and dealt with. In the system, computer graph and database combine together, so are the geography position and the correlative attributes. The paper introduced the application that CIS and CIS component object were used in the information management system of Qujjng irrigation works, expatiated the main function in the management system. There are five survey stations in the south and north main trench of XiaoXiang reservoir. The system watches real time the change of water level and the quantity of flow in the five survey stations. So the water resource can be managed systematically and scientifically, some unrational and unscientific management for human subjectivity as before will be avoided. The geographical information that includes data information and surveyed informat ion const i tutes profess ional i nformat i on database. The manager can quick seeks the information that he wants in the database. As a result, time will be saved and efficiency will be improved.The papers elaborated how to design the system structure scheme and how to choose the exploitation environment. The integrated mapping environment was made up with 01,li automation technique. In the environment, Maplnfo and Visual Basic application are integrated. So visual basic application can use the function of Maplnfo. With parent window technique,the map windows irrMapInfo are brought forth to the windows in the client application. Then the users can control Maplnfo at client application. Information can be send to client application with OLE callback technique. Then the users can get the information that has been dealt with by Maplnfo. In the integrated mapping environment, Maplnfo and visual basic are combined together organically with parent window technique and 01E callback technique.During designing the system structure and building the system, enough room was provided for upgrading the system. Then the paper has the reference significance for exploitation of CIS and water resource management. |
