THE STUDY OF SOD PRODUCTION TECHNOLOGY IN SUBTROPIC ZONE VAN Dong-hai Supervisor: Gan You-mm (College of animal science & technique, Sichuan agricultural university, Ya抋n, 625014, Sichuan province, China) Abstract: At present, cool season turfgrass sod was widely applied in the subtropics zone. Cool season sod has the characteristic of the more competitive in price at market and has the promising market. But, the production process of sod was long and has shortcomings of advancing in technique. In this paper, different species of turfgrass, the seeding rate, and the medium status was used to influence the i oduction of sod. The turfgrass species have three levels, the seeding rate also have three levels. And the medium has two levels. All aimt.d to improve the sod production technology in subtropics zone. The study prolonged two period, the seeding date of the first study period was Match 29th, and that of the second study period was October 3 0th. The two period studies have turned out the same result.
