Soil testing and formulated fertilization is based on soil test fertilizer field experiment, based on soil test, in accordance with the laws of crop fertilizer, for the performance of soil and fertilizer effect of manure, reasonable application of organic fertilizers on the basis of. made of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, trace elements, such as the application of fertilizer species, quantity, time and application method of fertilizer application. Soil testing and formulated fertilization is is internationally known as balanced fertilization, the technology the implementation of the United Nations in the world of advanced agricultural technology, is to promote sustainable agricultural development to reduce agricultural pollution and enhance an important means to the income of the farmers.In order to spread the applied technologies of soil testing and formulated fertilization, it is effective to develop computer added fertilization system with the aid of information technology. It is necessary to apply GIS technologies into agriculture to solve the problems, such as agriculture planning and decision, spread of technology, fertilization guidance, estimation of yield, etc.Recently, many researches on the application of GIS into fertilizer system have been reported, but most of the software's in the researches only dealt with one specific crop and one region. In addition, the definition of the database system of the software's did not match standards and fertilizing methods were chosen at random, which resulted in the poor transportability and versatility of the software's, the limited application area and the difficulty use of it outside theoretical research. It is unable to achieve the goal to spread the technology to wider range.My internship at the Leading Group for the implementation of office in Yunnan Province soil testing and formulated fertilization, to participate in a series of soil testing and formulated fertilization, such as spatial data acquisition and processing, soil testing and formulated fertilization experts in research and development decision-making system, in the system, participated in field experiments focused on the design of the study module. And based on the analysis of previous studies, the system in the study focused on the study of standardization of attribute database management for soil testing and formulated fertilization system, visualization of agricultural information management, and a prior decision-making model for soil testing and formulated fertilization system has been created and applied into the database of soil testing and formulated fertilization system of Yunnan Province. On the basis of the model, a decision-making computer system for soil testing and formulated fertilization of Yunnan Province has been developed, by which the optimal formulated fertilization and estimation of yield can be made for corps at the present condition according to different climates and different soil conditions. The software developed in this study is the first one that can deal with soil testing and formulated fertilization issues under different climates and different levels of soil fertility, and has made great economic benefits in the prefectural-level soil testing and formulated fertilization projects during 2005 to 2008. It is of important significant for further research in soil testing and formulated fertilization, boosting the output of agricultural products, increasing the efficiency of the use of fertilizer, improving the agricultural environment population.According to the researches of the application of such areas to agricultural as information management system, decision-making and supporting system, expert system, system integration, with the aid of database and GIS soft development technologies, and taking into account of the practice of prefectural-level agricultural technology management for scientific fertilization, in this paper, the GIS-based prefectural-level soil testing and formulated fertilization system has been developed using Visual programming language Delphi7.0 and MapObjects2.2 integrated development technologies. This system integrates data management, fertilization decision-making and fertilization guidance as a whole and has realizes integrated management of spatial and in-spatial data of sampling points. Functions of data query and statistics have been strengthened in this software, and more practical fertilization models have been given to solve issues of balanced-fertilization.
