Negative Landscape And Its Positive Utilization

This paper mainly takes the negative landscape as the research object, combining with landscape aesthetics,restoration ecology and recreational psychology,using the method of combined theoretical research and empirical analysis,from the conception to the connotation,from type classification to utilization methods, summarizing and analysising through massive negative landscape phenomenon,proposing universal phenomenon of the relationship between human behavior and negative landscape.The conclusion from the phenomenon to enhance the concept of nagetive landscape, to define and explore its connotation.The negative landscape has negative effects, which are visual pollution, disorganization, afunction or inconforming to the human requirement landscape. It is unavoidalbe of the emegernce of negative landscape, there are universal and necessity.There are two methods to investigate on the connotation of nagative landscape from both vertical and horizonal aspects. In the vertical, collection and hunting times, farming era, industrial era and the post-industrial era is to produce the root of the evolving negative landscape.People's perspective and response to negative landscape is "While avoiding disadvantages". In the horizontal,the artical aiming at the modern negative landscape of scale, the size of the affected areas, the number of integrated elements such as macro, meso, and micro levels of awareness, reveal a major existence of different levels form of negative landscape.The final purpose of analysising the conceptiong and connotaion of the negative landscape is to make the positive utilization and to build ideal landscape.
