Modern aircraft is an enormous system, which consists of many subsystems and involves many different specialties. The development of modern aircraft is a very complicated system project. Recent years, with the advance of weapon modernization of our country, it emerged many service and maintenance problems. There are three typical problems in aircraft entering service: long maintaining time, weak maneuverability and high maintenance cost.It can be learned from correlated information that American new developed F-22 and F-35 attached much importance to integrated support. The support ability of F-22 and F-35 and their introduced autonomous support concept become a trend and guide for future integrated supporting technology. Test diagnostic technology will be the driver for integrated support of next generation aircraft. Specially, Prognostics and Health Managemen(tPHM)is the most representative one in test diagnostic technology. However, the research focus of our PHM so far remains in basic concepts and frame level. The basic theory has been studied for many years, but the project application of key technology (e.g. inference machine, various transformation)lacks further study and practical experience.The article tracks the newest technology progress of test diagnostic and integrated logistics supporting at home and abroad, especially the application of PHM technology on NG aircraft and its autonomous support system. Furthermore, it discusses how to conduct PHM general structuring in our future aircraft development, how to plan PHM-triggered integrated support and implement Autonomic logistics system.
