Because of high varied speed quality, wide speed adjusting range, higher reliablility, DC motor is widely used in industrial production. With the advancement of technology and continuous improvement of production process, DC speed control system performance requirements have become more sophisticated, the performance requirements of DC speed control system have become more and more sophisticated.The issue designes and implements a high-power DC drive system with the Infineon 16-bit microcontroller XC164CS as the core control unit.Firstly, this paper summarized and analyzed the advantages of DC speed control system, further made the significance of developing this knowledge of DC drive system.Secondly, this paper described high-power DC drive system operation and control mechanism, and developed a system's overall program.Thirdly, based on control technology and power electronic rectifier technology, this paper develops and design a set of high-performance and high-power DC speed control system with Infineon 16-bit microcontroller core. The main circuit consists of three-phase bridge controlled rectifier circuits. Each functional module circuit is designed in the control circuit includingcurrent feedback circuit, speed feedback circuit, the trigger pulse output circuit as well as human-machine interface and so on.Fourthly, a set of practical high power DC motor control software system for experimental is developed, which based on C language. The reasonable design of software fully displayed the flexibility of DC motor control system.Finally, the experimental results validated and deepened the conclusions draw from theoretical research. The results fully approved the usability and reliability for the system. It helps a lot to the efficiency of experimentation.
