With the development of science and technology, traditional analog oscilloscope can no longer meet the needs of signal measurement. Compared to traditional analog oscilloscopes, Digital Storage Oscilloscope can keep the number of pre-trigger function and have many advantages in waveforms storage, operation, display the waveform faster and so on. Nowadays embedded system is more and more popular in the market. Handhold Scope-Meter encompasses not only functions of the traditional Digital Storage Oscilloscope, but also functions of the Multimeter.Scheme of the design in this paper is based on ARM9 + FPGA framework. With WinCE as the operating system, user's interfaces and the hardware resources are managed. The ARM9 hardware platform is introduced in this paper, along with the migration of WinCE operating system, data acquisition and memory control circuit.Details are as follows:Based on S3C2440, the hardware platform is built. Hardware platform, platform, interface circuit design and circuit design are discussed in this paper. Multiple interfaces are provided: USB, RS232, 32-bit bus interface, VGA, LCD and so on.In the migration of WinCE operating system, the following aspects have been discussed: the BootLoader transplant, custom the WinCE operating system, transplant the drivers of LCD and the power management and so on.Data Acquisition and storage control circuit design include channel control, receiving the data of ADC, clockgenerator, trigger modules, time-based control module, data storage module and so on.
