The speed sensorless control of AC motors technology enhances the reliability of AC driving system, and reduces the realization cost. So, speed sensorless control system of AC motors has been the popular research project. The key problem is that how we can get the speed of motor accurately. In the last few years, the schemes based on energy-shaping and port-controlled Hamiltonian systems (PCH) have attracted a lot of interest. In this paper, on based research of PCH control of AC motors by research group, speed sensorless control is introduced, then speed estimation of AC motor is realized. At first, control method and speed estimation method of speed sensorless control of AC motors are introduced, and indicate deficiencies of these methods, then this paper demonstrates the purpose and importance of PCH control of AC motors based on speed sensorless method.Secondly, the basic theory of energy-shaping and PCH control principle are introduced. In the meantime, after years of hard efforts research group has realized the application of PCH control of AC motors.Thirdly, port-controlled hamiltonian control of induction motors(IM) based on speed sensorless method is researched. PCH model of induction motors is established based on energy-shaping and PCH control principle, then speed estimation is realized by Model Reference Adaptive System(MRAS) method and PI controller method. At last, system simulation model is established. Then, port-controlled hamiltonian control of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) based on speed sensorless method is researched. PCH model of PMSM is established based on energy-shaping and PCH control principle, then speed estimation is realized by PI controller method. At last, system simulation model is established. At last, this paper compared speed sensorless vector control of AC motors with speed sensorless PCH control of AC motors. By comparing, the proposed control scheme is valid, and the dynamic and static performance is quite well.
