This paper is based on basic research of manufacturing large power equipment that come from the national program on key basic research project. The project is to resolve the basic theory and key technology of designing and manufacturing advanced heavy gas turbine that is part of national strategy. In order to optimize the product structure, improve product quality and reduce product development cycle, based on reverse engineering, reconstruction theory was applied to global implement interpolation for data matrix of turbine blades.That can provide technical and manufacturing support. The main research work of this paper is as follows:1.In order to obtain data points of gas turbine blades, data measuring and processing is used:selection of measurement, probe type selection and calibration, to establish baseline measurement coordinate system, programming scanning measurement, the data point pretreatment.2.This paper has researched the definition and nature of Bezier,B-spline and NURBS(Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline),and comparing their advantages and disadvantages, chosen to apply NURBS curve and surface to reconstruct gas turbine blades.3.The theoretical reconstruction of NURBS curve and surface has researched. Comparing of the two reconstruction methods of interpolation and approximation, according to the measured data, adopt the method of interpolation to NURBS curve and surface reconstruction.4. Fairing treatment is carried out on data points of the section curve and surface of turbine blades.According to the measured data, adopt the method of wavelet method.5.In Delphi programming environment, OpenGL is applied to achieve section curve and surface reconstruction of gas turbine blades. Studied the programming characteristics of Delphi and OpenGL, they can be closely integrated, easy to implement the computing and graphics algorithm, guarantee the correctness and reliability of the algorithm. The experiment measured the section curve and surface data of gas turbine blades.Then, the data points load into the prepared reconstruction program. Eventually, verified the program could effectiveness achieve the section curve and surface reconstruction of gas turbine blades.
