Arc Bottom Box Girder Bridge With Large Cantilever is applied in the practical engineering more and more popular for its wonderful appearance. The width-span ratio of Arc Bottom Box Girder Bridge With Large Cantilever is large, so shear lag effect is obvious. Domestic and foreign scholars have done a lot of work on the issue of shear lag, and there are a variety of theories and methods with their own characteristics. But the study of shear lag effect and variation low of shear lag coefficient of the Arc Bottom Box Girder Bridge With Large Cantilever is very little, so the shear lag effect of the Arc Bottom Box Girder Bridge With Large Cantilever needs to be further studied. In addition, because the force on Arc Bottom Box Girder Bridge With Large Cantilever is complex, for understanding the actual physical space deformation and mechanical behaviors when the bridge is in the load state, construction quality inspection stations of Central South University tests the real bridge. Here is some analysis and study on the test. This paper concentrates on the following studies:(1) A brief introduction of the cause of box girder shear lag effect and the present research.(2) Take 4x40m viaduct in Changsha Xiaoxiang Road as study object, by using the finite element program, analyze Arc Bottom Box Girder Bridge With Large Cantilever shear lag effect and the shear lag coefficient of variation in nine different conditions.(3) Take 4x40m viaduct in Changsha Xiaoxiang Road as study object, analyze the effect on shear lag effect caused by various parameters of box girders, and the variation law of shear lag coefficient.(4) Test 4x40m viaduct in Changsha Xiaoxiang Road, compare the measured data with finite element theoretical calculation data, further reveal the shear lag effect and the shear lag coefficient variation law of Arc Bottom Box Girder Bridge With Large Cantilever.
