Develops external prestressed bridge the design and the construction engineering research, may use external prestressed for the similar bridge to provide the model, to impels the newly built bridge technology and the old bridge reinforcement technology development all has the profound significance. In the reading massive science and technology literature foundation, the main research work includes:(1) the external prestressed structure concept and the system were discussed, the development history and the present situation were also discuussed; the external prestressed bridge the stress characteristic and the method of calculation were analyzed, the external prestressed system composition and the main construction craft was introduced, the external prestressed realization process and the technical key point were summarized.(2) according to the design of the internal pre-stressed mixed with the external prestressed system, according to the structure different stage mechanics characteristic value determined in internal prestressed and external prestressed quantity, declare about that the internal prestressed mainly guarantee beam the intensity and the rigidity in the construction period, external prestressed satisfies the intensity and the rigidity request through the whole operation period.
