Under restrictions of long rod type APFSDS launch strength and muzzle kinetic energy, the optimization of sub-caliber ratio, length-to-diameter ratio and the rod mass were studied in order to satisfy the sabot mass, efficiency of muzzle kinetic, ballistic stability and the necessary velocity of limiting penetration. A study on numerical simulation had been carry out on long rod type APFSDS with difference head structure penetrate on "Exocet" anti-ship missile at different striking angle and attack angle, through the vulnerability analysis of "Exocet" missile, verification of long rod type APFSDS attack on equivalent power target, and structure & shape of "Exocet" missile. This paper discusses penetration results of long rod type APFSDS on target plate and hemisphere part of case under different striking angle. It provides certain support for experimental study.
