With the rapid development of our country's economy construction, road construction business becomes flouring. In civil market, there is an urgent need of compactor machinery, which is highly bulked, highly impacted and highly efficient. Impact Compactors, as a new type of compactors having come up in recent years, have obvious advantages in many respects such as impact quality and productivity. It becomes the first-chosen machine replacing nowadays compactor machinery. Now there is widespread study and using of Triangle Impact Compactor in market, but having no much paid attention in theory study of Pentagon Impact Compactor. Because of the absence of systematic designing theory and method, there are a lot of difficulties in developing and manufacturing Pentagon Impact Compactor in many civil works. Therefore, it becomes very important and urgent to deep theoretical study on the application situation and working principle of Pentagon Impact Compactor.In this paper, in light of the application situation of our country's Impact Compactors, analyse the Pentagon Impact Compactor working principle detailedly, the key theories and technological problems of it have been researched deeply and completely.First , Pentagon Impact Compactor's primary structure and the function has been made the detailed introduction. based on this, discovered the Pentagon Impact Compactor 's primary structure parameter and the kinematics parameter. Next, the main structure parameter and kinematics parameter ,and their relations has been been carried on the multianalysis; In the article, establishing the Pentagon Impact Compactor's starting and the steady moving status kinematics model ,inferred its kinematics formula. And mainly studied the the Pentagon calculation of Pentagon Impact Compactor's need for tracion force, impact power and impact energy.Third, uses three dimensional modelling software UG to complet the three dimensional modeling of Impact Compactor, and transforms to the VRML form which Open Inventor can distinguish. Finally, has studied the key technologies of hypothesized simulation, mainly complete the impact compaction dynamic simulation process. And has mainly studied the engine technology , separately realized the object motion control in the scene, moving process simulation, interactive surface design and interactive function realization.Computer numerical analysis technology is adopted in this paper, and the Pentagon Impact Compactor practical sample machine produced by a factory is taken on as an object. All above designing theory and methods have been calculated on it as a specific example, and the contrastive analysis is carried out in connection with simulation process, and the correctness of the theoretical molds has been tested.
