Slope stability problem is one of the most common geotechnical engineering problems, It involves each main fields, its evaluating covers geology, climate, hydrology, human activity, engineering construction and many other areas,Many existing manual data store and data management system are already beyond the need for the disaster information processing, space analysis model,Spatial data structure,immense amounts of data are became more and more complex.Therefore, how to solve this problem and gives a variety systematic analysis on spatial date will be a key issue in disaster research,As a newly rising information transmission system, GIS provides a powerful technology support and platform in solving this problem including data acquisition,processing,management and spatial analysis.This article introduces GIS to the prewarning system research and developed a prewarning system on Slope instability based on GIS.It also taking mining slope and Saide slope for example to evaluate its stability.Following are the main achievements throughout the study.(1)This paper designed database of slope, completed the coding work for the slope Information entity,achieved some basic functionality of information management on GIS slope.(2)This paper have studied the prewarning methods in landsliding disaster, developed catastrophe progression evaluation module,it has realized the function.of prewarming with catastrophe theory module.(3)This paper discussed the using of stereo-analytical method in the stability assessment of rock slope,developed stereo-analytical model based on Object-Oriented language.(4) This paper giving the structural and functional design of the predicting and prewarming systems, developed the analysis software of three-dimensional visualization and Slope stability, the article also evaluated the slope by taking typical slope for example.The application example shows:This way is more efficiently and conveniently, It has much more extensive applications value.
