Professional training program (PTP) refers to the sum of the process of professional training achieved by relatively stabile education contents, manangement system and assessment way, which under the guidance of given educational theories and thoughts, and in accordance with given cultivation objectives and professional specifications. It is the specific embodiment of professional training thoughts, the specific and practical form of professional training objectives and standards, the key link of achieving professional cultivation objectives and standards, the implementation prototype of professional training and the programmatic documents of developing teaching.The merits of the PTP is ultilimately reflected on its appropriateness. The appropriateness of PTP does not only have influence on school's education quality and also greatly affects graduates' job-obtaining and starting a business. Every higher vocational education have attached great importance to the establishment and adjustment of PTP.Since the major of LA was generated, and with the changes of the society, people still have not stopped doing research on the appropriateness of its PTP. And the research mainly includes knowledge system, curriculum system, curriculum contents, and teaching methods and so on. Though the history of major setting of the LA is not very long, it caontains various kinds of subjects, such as, geology, physical geography, soil science, meteorology, biology, botany, ecology, horticulture, forestry, and even the case of literary, artistic, aesthetic, engineering, law, economics, management. All those subjects have impact on the forming and implementation of PTP as well as its appropriateness.This paper takes the background of vigorously developing higher vocational education, combines with author's experience acting as a teacher of LA in polytek, in view of current employment status of graduates in the major of LA and using documents, questionnaires, interviews and other methods of investigation, follow the guidance of teaching theories and curriculum theories, takes employment and enterneurship as the core, learners as the main body, ability of knowledge applying as leading sector, competency-based development as mainline, compares the forming and complementation process of LA PTP in higher vocational college with the needings of industry development, students'employment and being enterneurship, and reflecs the current PTP in higher vocational college to put forward suggestions for PTP of LA in higer vocational college how to better adapt to the needs of industry development, employment and being enterneurship.This paper includes four parts. The first part is mainly focusing on the researching background, its origin, basis, subjects, contents, purpose, methods, literature review, researching toeroes and its practical significance, relevant concept, etc; The second part, according to comparation of PTP in higher vocational college with the needs of industry development, employment and being enterneurship, the author tries to find out the main problem of the PTP's appropriateness. The third part, through the above problems to pursuit the unmatched reason between PTP of LA in hiher vocational college and employment and being enterneurship, the professional curriculum setting and industry development, PTP and teachers, students, as well as teaching methods. The last part is the strategy. Using curriculum theory, teaching and other aspects of the theory, combine with needs of industry development, student employment and business running, to give suggestions and countermeasures to PTP, speciality settings, curriculum constructing, teaching staff and methods. So that it can provide a measure for enhancing appropriateness of PTP of LA in higher vocational college as a reference.
