Based on the negative effects by impervious concrete to the city ecological environment, this paper studies the green ceramsite and properties of the water-pervious concrete which is made by the green ceramsite.This article studies the method utilizing waste porcelain powder, red mud, and fly ash to produce ceramsite, and then explores the effect of different materials and burning methods on the quality of ceramsite. The contents and conclusion of this research are as follows:1. Water porcelain powder, red mud, and fly ash as materials can be burnt into qualified ceramsite. With an increase in the waste porcelain powder, there emerges a gradual decrease in the packing density of the ceramsite and in the funne pressure strength, while the absorption rate decreases at first but increases later. As the red mud increases, the packing density of the ceramsite and the funne pressure strength also increase gradually, but the absorption rate decreases at first and then increases. With the increases in the fly ash, the absorption rate and the packing density of the ceramsite, and the funne pressure strength gradually increase.2.As the preheat temperature rise, the funne pressure strength presents an increasing tendency. While the preheat temperature is not changed, prolonged preheating does not have considerable effect on the absorption rate of the cerasite, but the funne pressure strength presents a tendency of increase. As the baking temperature rises and the baking time is prolonged, the packing density and absorption rate tend to decrease. If the temperature is too high, the funne pressure strength and the packing density decrease while the absorption rate increases.3.In order to the pervious concrete mix design , adopted volume method can obtain in substantial agreement between the concrtete porosity and target porosity. When water-cement value is relatively low, target porosity and measured porosity are basically the same porosity. Put the aggregate into the concrete one time have good ability to the strength, but the permeability coefficient has been a decline; cement wrap stone method raises the water permeability coefficient, but also has disadvantage.4.Early pervious concrete strength develops fast with in 7 to 28 days reaching more than 70%, Blending aggregate reduce the porous concret strength, but can improve permeability coefficient in general. Adopted EVA emulsion can increase the strength of porous concret obviously, specially the flexural strength, but will decrease the permeability coefficient. The permeability coefficients are close fully in 7 and 28 days, but the permeability coefficient has downward tendency in 28 day.
