| From the beginning of the 1970s, we have begun to layout revolving restaurants at the top of a number of high-rise tourism guesthouses in our country. Generally, the revolving restaurants are layout at the top of the building, most of which are high above the roof of the main building and become signs of the advanced junketing hotels. It brings important influence on the shape and artistic style of buildings, attracts people's attention with its beautiful gesture, and provides people a comfortable life and office environment .But at the same time, it is irregular high-rise building structure because of the problems of vertically set-back, overhanging ,floor conversion. How to assess and ensure its reliability under the earthquake becomes the important subject of seismic research. This paper analyzes the seismic performance of the structure on the background of a high-rise building with a revolving restaurant. Main contents can be shown as following:(1) The response spectrum method is used to analyze the structure and the obtained distribution of story drifts, story displacements and the top-story displacements in the x and y directions are presented.(2) This paper researches and discusses the principle, assumptions and execution steps of static elasto-plastic analysis method.The static elasto-plastic push-over method is applied into the analysis of a high-rise building structure with a revolving restaurant by two horizontal load distribution modes,and the specific process of static elasto-plastic analysis is given. By analyzing the work performance and weak links of the high-rise structure with revolving a restaurant under rare earthquake, we can understand seismic performance comprehensively and make a more reasonable assessment of the structural, and discuss the applicability of push-over analysis in seismic performance of a high-rise building structure with a revolving restaurant.(3) This paper focuses on studying and discussing the assumptions and calculating steps of time-history analysis method, the mechanical model of structure, the selection of seismic waves, the establishment and resolvement of the model resilience force curve and dynamic equation.and the elasto-plastic time-history analysis is carried out for the structure using a simplified story model by three seismic waves.(4) By comparing the analysis result of push-over in the action of frequent earthquake with that of response spectrum in the action of the same earthquake grade and comparing the result of static elasto-plastic analysis in the action of rare earthquake with that of elasto-plastic time-history analysis, the conclusion that the model push-over analysis method can consider the impact of high-order mode better and be more suitable for the static elasto-plastic analysis of the high-rise structure with revolving restaurant is given. The paper provides the basis of further researching and improving the push-over analysis method in the application of the structures. |
