The main part of power plant boiler (such as diaphragm wall, superheater, reheater, economizer, etc.) are composed by the tube. Therefore, the steel pipe welding is one of the core technology of boiler manufacturers. It can be said that the quality of power plant boiler manufacturer, to a large extent depends on the quality of steel pipe welding. As a high-quality welding process, TIG welding in the field of welding has been widely used. With the industrial automation and control technology development, how to reliably control the TIG welding process, has become the contemporary industrial development goal.The steel tube butt automatic arc welding machine is composed of main machine, TIG welder, pneumatic system and control system four parts. According to control of timing and process, use of Japan's Mitsubishi Corporation Q02HCPU series of PLC, has designed a programmable logic controller based on the steel butt welding machine Automatic TIG PLC control system. The control system consists of two control cabinet and console parts. Control inside a PLC (including CPU, control modules, expansion modules and A / D, D / A, O / I and other modules), five sets of AC servo drives, frequency converter, such as a set of components communicate. Placed on console panel and touch screen buttons, the system can achieve an external signal to the collection, man-machine dialogue, setting, show the welding process, parameters, status and the exercise of the arc welding process control (AVC) and torch swinging motion, etc.Through on-site debugging and indicates that customers use, PLC control system hardware anti-interference ability, easy maintenance, improve reliability, the software can meet the TIG welding steel docking process control requirements, implementation of the entire system TIG welded steel docking process of mechanization and automation control, to improve welding quality and stability is extremely important.
