In recent years, many deep water bridges have been constructed or are being planned to be constructed in our country. Under the earthquake function, the deep water bridge will cause the water body around the structure radiation billow wave. As a result of the structure and the water relative motion, the part in the structure submarine will affect the hydrodynamic pressure. The hydrodynamic pressure will not only change the dynamic performance of the structure, also affect the power response of the structure. In view of this question, a series of work is carried into execution as follows:(1) The summary introduction of the earthquake harm to the bridge as well as the essential anti-seismic method to the bridge are presented. The necessity to consider the hydrodynamic pressure for the deep water bridge is elaborated, the art of the research state of the hydrodynamic pressure is also presented.(2) The Morison equation which is the main computation method of the anti-seismic analysis of the bridge pier under hydrodynamic pressure is introduced.(3) The north station road Liu yang river bridge is used to be the computation model. Morison Equation is used to analyze the seismic response of the bridge pier in deep water. Under the earthquake function, as a result of the influence of the hydrodynamic pressure, the result of the displacement of the pillar apex and the endrogenic force of the pillar root in the situation of hydrodynamic pressure is different from that in the situation of neglecting water pressure.(4) The influence of the water depth to the seismic response of the bridge pier is discussed. The results show that the influence increases with the depth of the water. The computational item is different, the influence of the hydrodynamic pressure is also different. The main factors that may affect hydrodynamic pressure are obtained, such as computational item, the depth of the water and the characters of input records that are concerned.
