Planting-bar reinforcement of fold angle, which is newly applied in practical project, is a special reinforce method suitable for the negative bending load in frame beam-ends. At present there is no systematical and specialized research on this issue. According to the command of literature, this article reviews the research situation and latest progress in the field of planting-bar reinforcement. Besides, 75 pulling tests of reinforcement specimen were made to comprehensively study the effect factors of the limit pulling force of planting-bar reinforcement of fold angle. According to several failure modes, this article discusses the failure mechanism, establishes corresponding mechanical model, and provides the design proposal. The main results of research obtained are following:1. Through the experiment, bending Angle, planting-bar length, the variety of bond, concrete strength, reinforcing bars and some other factors were inspected to determine the affection to the pulling force of planting-bar reinforce of folded angle. The results show that, Under the condition of specimen without transverse splitting, the increase of limit load correspond to the increase of bending Angle and depth of reinforcement planting-bar; however, when the bending Angle is greater than 60 degree, the limit load is determined by concrete strength.2. Through analyzing the failure mode observed in former experiment, this article discussed the mechanical analysis method of the problem of planting-bar of fold angle bond anchoring, and deduced the theoretical computational formula of limit pulling force. The formula was revised by considering the effect of component of forces of pulling forces along the direction of the fold angle and vertical section of fold angle. Analysis shows that the theoretical results are very fitting close to experimental results.3. According to the above computational formula of pulling force, minimum depth of planting-bar calculation formula can be deduced to facilitate the engineering application.
