Long-span Steel Bridge Deck Pavement Disease And Repair Technology

Deck paving is one of technical problem in the construction of long span bridges.The early damage of bridge deck pavement will greatly reduce the life of bridges. Now most bridges have various deck pavement deteriorations in China, so systematic research of deck pavement deterioration and restoration technique has great significance for paving design and maintenance. Combined with Queshi Bridge deck paving engineering ,the paper has carried out the research. The content is as follows:Firstly,diseases for Queshi Bridge deck paving were investigated and damage types for bridge deck paving were divided and causes for all kinds of diseases were analyzed, which were the repair scheme's base for Queshi Bridge deck paving.Secondly, based on the characteristics of bridge deck pavement and climate and traffic condition and bridge deck structure characteristics, the performance requirements of Queshi Bridge deck paving was proposed; After considering Finite Element Analysis for Queshi Bridge deck paving and its main diseases and performance requirements, the repair scheme for Queshi Bridge deck paving was pointedly put forward.Thirdly, based on materials gradation design theory for bridge deck pavement and with a lot of indoor experiments, raw materials of Queshi Bridge deck paving were selected. GA10 and SMA10 asphalt mixtures proportioning design were put forward. The optimal asphalt content of two mixtures were determined.Fourthly,after systematic study of the repair construction technology of Queshi Bridge deck pavement, the process control methods ,quality detection projects, quality assurance system and quality detection projects for bridge deck paving repair construction were put forward.By studying the deck pavement deterioration and restoration technique of Queshi Bridge systematically, the structural design, material mix design, repair construction technology and quality control of bridge deck pavement were proposed in this paper,which supplied some important guidance and reference information for similar projects.
