Oscilloscope as one of the commonly used measuring and testing equipment, has been widely used in the production and research activities. However, the data accuracy, reliability and convenience of operation shall be the most features of Oscilloscope calibrator, as the standardization equipment. In order to ensure the stable performance, and accuracy of the measurement and testing, route performance evaluation is quite necessary. This thesis defined the testing system of oscilloscope calibrator using GPIB bus architecture based on .NET platform from the perspective of computer technology, software technology and measuring technology of automatic testing system. The major content is just as follows.Using computer-controlled oscilloscope calibrating equipment, and tested oscilloscope calibrators, the whole testing process will be automatically conducted with limited involvement of the staff, which including testing for some 17 parameters, such as, time scale signal cycle, voltage pattern, steady sinusoidal wave pattern, edge pattern etc of various types of oscilloscope calibrators, data recording, data calculation, and determination of the testing results, and generation of the testing certificate etc.The article introduces technical specification and hardware structure of .NET based oscilloscope calibrator automatic measuring and testing system, and we also design and developed automatic testing system software by using"Agilent T&M Toolkit", and realized the synchronized display and processing of the testing data, and report generation etc. We also successfully employed the'Grubb Principle'as data processing methodology to ensure the accuracy of the testing data. The system is driven by the feature parameters, which has solved the problem of discrepancies among the alphabetical string control order from the different types of equipment by various vendors, and the expandability and maintainability has been further enhanced; the system store the data by using relative database to realize the dynamic exchange of the data. The storage, analysis and editing of the data has be simplified.The system is feature as easy to operate, fully functional, friendly software interface, excellent performance, and strong stability, and it greatly improve the work efficiency and testing accuracy, the system have large space to further expand, and with wide area to apply.
