Usb Otg Is A Handheld Digital Storage Oscilloscope

With the application of Digital Storage Oscilloscope(DSO), the handheld digital storage oscilloscope for the application is also increasing. The handheld digital storage oscilloscope is mainly used to testing data in mobile areas or special occasion, which has a new request in the communication rate and the structure of handheld digital storage oscilloscope. Small size, low power consumption and fast rate become the main objective of interface design. Based on this, we use the USB OTG specification to design the USB Interface of handheld digital storage oscilloscope.System used ADI's high-speed digital signal processor ADSP-BF531. USB OTG Controller used the EZ-OTG (CY7C67200). The design can measure oscilloscope waveform data and transfer parameters, display and storage, as well as for remote oscilloscope control .At the same time. We simplified the handheld digital storage oscilloscope's hardware structure as a result of the use of OTG interface.This study includes: the structure of handheld digital storage oscilloscope, OTG function of design,EZ-OTG interface chip configuration and the choice of working methods, file system, U disk file format, bitmap files, the virtual panel,and so on. Based on this, I design and debug the HOST module and the DEVICE module of USB OTG in hardware and software.The design goal is to achieve USB OTG technology in the handheld digital storage oscilloscope. HOST module is to study the transmission of waveform and interface between U disk and handheld digital storage oscilloscope. DEVICE module is to study the transmission of waveform and interface between handheld digital storage oscilloscope and a virtual PC panel. In the OTG port, I achieved the function of HOST module and DEVICE module, which improved the structure and function of handheld digital storage oscilloscope.
