With the development of civil aviation,the capacity and Coverage and data reliability demand is higher and higher. 1090MHz Extended Squitter Automatic Dependent Surveillance is a new technology base on Mode S transponder. This system can provide 1M Bit/s data transfer bandwidth, and can provide service such as surveillance to these areas where traditional can not cover.1090MHz ES ADS-B is the only recommend working mode by the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). The Mode S transponder just need a little change and can upgrade to adapt to ADS-B system. ADS-B system is based on the individually addressing, with the surport of Airborne Equipment such as Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS), by broadcasting current status message, mode message, target message, etc; realize surveillance, navigation, identification friend or foe.A kind of ADS-B plot extractor system based on FPGA+DSP architecture is introduced in this paper.This system adopt modified Mode S decode algorithms and new ADS-B message extract algorithms to get information of ADS-B broadcast message correctly in high density and high A/C jamming environments,which are preamble detecting algorithm,codes getting algorithm based on multi-samples and multi-parameters,and error detection and correction algorithm based on confidence analyzing, compact position report(CPR)decode algorithm.In this project,the author take part in the research of algorithm,system architecture design,and system hardware design.At the same time,the author mainly charge the research of modify and implement ADS-B decode algorithm .Finally, Design and implement test system. The main results are as follows:1. Improve the Mode S decoding algorithm, including DMTL algorithm, aplitude filter and message head recognition algorithm. Improve the code bit recognition algorithm and confidence extraction algorithm. Add ADS-B information extraction algorithm, to make it fit the new ADS-B system. Accomplish the hardware design of the ADS-B decoding system, and implement the algorithm in FPGA and DSP. The improved data exchange mode between FPGA and DSP, reduce the decoding delay, to improve the decoding performance.2. Implement the ADS-B test system individully, including hardware design and implimentation, coding and debug. This test system is conpatable for Mode A/C, Mode S, TCAS. The test source has high converage rate.3. Accomplish the test of all algorithms above and the integreted system.
