Avionics Equipments is one key factor that determines the victory or defeat of the information war, but the performance of avionics equipments that compared to developed country still has a big gap. So the project of Integrated Manufacturing Technology of Multifunctional Structure is researched to solve problems and develop high performance module.The developmental direction of future avionics equipments and modules is integrated, modular, small, intelligent, multi-function, high reliability, easy maintenance and scalability direction. These will inevitably lead to many problems such as thermal, electromagnetic compatibility and interface connection. At the same time, the functions of electronic equipment, size, weight, reliability, and adaptability to various environments is included in the structural design. These present higher demand to structural designer.With the improvement of integrated circuit and the increased heat flux, temperature has become the main factor that affects the reliability of electronic equipment. So solving the problem of heat dissipation is the main thought to design the module in this paper. And then, by analyzing and comparing existing foreign standards of LRM module, the VITA-48 standard was selected as the designing reference; and by analyzing the methods of thermal design and the thermal designing target, single-phase liquid cooling was chose as the mainly thermal control method, and small-channel liquid cooling cold plate was researched by this way.The design scheme of the liquid cooling module of the multifunctional structure module includes sheet metal model and milling model, and the milling model includes box-model, sandwich-model and sandwich-box model. The box model was finally selected. And furthermore, the model components were delineated and designed the structure, including liquid cooling cold plate, locking devices, insertion-extraction device and shielding board. Liquid cooling cold plate was the design core of the module. It provided thermal control, support and the base of circuit, and it was a multifunctional component. Analyzing the main factors that affect thermal performance in this paper, the method of reducing thermal resistance by welding aluminum plate and increasing convection heat transfer coefficient by adding columns was got. And the design core was the optimization of structural parameters of columns and flow-channels. And then, analyzing the relation of columns and thermal sources, the concept of Column-Group and its parameters were defined. Furthermore, general thermal design theory, experimental design and simulation analysis was used to analyze the parameters of rectangular and diamond-shaped Column-Group, and single factor and experimental design analysis was progressed. The best combination of the parameters was got within the selected parameter scope. In the design of flow channels, we obtained the stand or fall of the temperature performance of the S-shaped flow channel and spiral flow channel with two different entrance locations. And then, the analyzing results of Column-Group and flow channel were applied to the cold plate design, and the detailed model of the cold plate was built. Also, the simplified model was built for thermal simulation, and the result met the target requirements.At last, the thermal test system was set up, and the results disposing methods and formulas were put forward. It put groundwork for furthermore thermal test of the module.The design method of liquid cold-plate, the concept of Column-Group, method of thermal resistance model, and experimental design method can be used for military and civilian equipment design in this paper, and has an important reference for structure design of electronic equipments. And it has a great strategic significance for national defense.
