The rotor field oriented control has brought essential advances in AC variable speed drive system.Speed sensorless induction motor drive promotes the simplicity and robustness further and reduces the realization cost.Now the high power sensorless vector controlled induction motor drive system is becoming one of the key subjects and technological breakthrough in the field of electrical drive and automation.The key problem of sensorless vector control system is that how we can get the speed of motor accurately. The speed estimation and rotor flux observation methods are studied using the theory of model reference adaptive system,and build up a sensorless vector control system based on model reference adaptive system,which was obtained from the equations of induction motor stator voltages and currents.The method of off-line identification was introduced in order to improve the designed vector control system's steady-state precision and dynamic performance. At first, the chapter introduces the motor model for the identification at standstill. In order to get the motor parameters at standstill; the method applies DC (Direct Current) and single-phase AC (Alternating Current) as excitations to identify the parameters. The paper proposes a novel iterative algorithm to solve the nonlinear equations. At last, the paper introduces a new scheme to calculate the power factor, which based on the instantaneous value of current and voltage.Based on successful matlab simulation for the designed system, the hardware circuit of the controlling system is designed ,based on the TI dsp TMS320F2812, the software functional block diagram and flowchart and the child modules also presented,then experiments were carried out and given.The proposed system has been applying in vector invertor production by Beijing Tianhuaboshi Electric Co.Ltd, which has very well experimental results and achived high praise from customers. The experimental results show that the proposed system can not only enhance the robustness, but also have high steady-state precision and dynamic performance.
