With the rapid development of transport informatization and the wide use of intelligent transport technologies, the information technologies have played more and more important roles in increasing the efficiencies of transport systems. The white paper on Shanghai city transportation points out: the overall strategic objective of Shanghai transportation development is to form an integrated transport system of international metropolis. As the pre-executed content of intelligent traffic system constructions, the composite traffic monitoring system should be the current key point. This paper uses the composite traffic monitoring system of one city as the application background and introduces the system structure and the requirements of the main subsystems. This paper explores some problems encountered in the traffic incident detection process made by Citilog video system, raises the relevant solutions, and realizes the purpose of effectively processing the mass multimedia data collected by electronic video monitoring system.Firstly this paper analyzes the current status of transport informatization in China, introduces the video monitoring technologies, compares the characteristics and functions of domestic and foreign video monitoring systems, and illustrates the reasons of why choosing Citilog system as the preferred system. Based on the above content and the construction of the bridge and tunnel traffic monitoring system of a city, this paper utilizes the hierarchical construction technology to form the management model of logic process, introduces the framework of system and raises the requirement analysis. This paper mainly discusses the issues related to the increasing of overall system efficiency and extension property encountered in the construction process, such as increasing the traffic detection accuracy, generating daily tables based on output files and the MediaTCP application in Citilog interface. This system application has good effect. Compared with the situation before the construction of this system, the overall operation efficiency and the traffic volume in the key roads have apparently been upgraded. |
